International Paralympic Committee

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) is an international non-profit organisation of elite sports for athletes with disabilities. Founded on September 22, 1989, the mission of the organisation is to enable paralympic athletes to achieve sporting excellence and inspire and excite the world. The membership of the IPC is made up of representatives from 162 National Paralympic Committees, four International Organisations of Sport for the Disabled, five regional organisations, and six International Sports Federations. The IPC is headquartered in Bonn, Germany. HRH Princess Haya is an Honorary member of the Board of Directors. www.paralympic.org
