Fédération Equestre Internationale

The Fédération Équestre Internationale is the international governing body of equestrian (horse) sports. It recognises and governs ten disciplines: dressage, combined driving, endurance riding, eventing, horseball, para-equestrianism, reining, show jumping, tent pegging, and vaulting. The FEI was formed in 1921 with the joining of the national organisations of Belgium, Denmark, France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Sweden and the United States of America. Today, there are 134 National Organisations who are affiliated with the FEI, the newest members being Albania, Cambodia, and Yemen who joined in 2007. HRH Princess Haya has served as FEI President since 2006. www.fei.org
